Kingswood Court is a secure Memory Care community designed to create a successful and supportive environment for individuals suffering from all forms of dementia. The staff at each Kingswood Court community is specially trained to provide residents with compassionate care in a dignified and comfortable, yet safe and secure, home-like environment.
Our uniquely designed neighborhoods promote safety, security, well-being and life enrichment programs. Highlights of our Memory Care include specialized caregiver training and activities, spacious outside courtyards and interaction between Kingswood Court and Assisted Living neighborhoods.
Many communities feature a circular floor plan to enable residents and allow them the independence to walk and wander safely. Secure outdoor courtyards provide residents with a greater sense of freedom and each has a way-finding path to help orient them. Some Kingswood Court neighborhoods also feature murals, presenting visual cues to stimulate memory. Murals create interactive memory and reminiscence opportunities to help our residents remember familiar daily activities such as shopping at the grocery, hardware or fabric stores or going to the post office or movie theater.
Residents in Kingswood Court are encouraged to engage in stimulating activities such as gardening, various instructional classes, monthly outings and scenic drives to build stamina and increase awareness. We understand that each resident is unique, which is why a specialized service plan is designed and tailored to meet your loved one's individual needs.
